Tariff Exemption Declaration
The Government of Canada is introducing a new initiative offering temporary tariff relief on select wood products. This exemption is available until October 16, 2025, and is designed to support manufacturers like you.
If you purchase wood-based products from Reimer Hardwoods for use in manufacturing, you may be eligible for this exemption. Qualifying products include, but are not limited to:
- Wood Veneer
- Hardwood Plywood
- Particleboard
- Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF) / High-Density Fibreboard (HDF)
- Hardwood Lumber
- Thermally-Fused Laminate (TFL) Panels
- Real wood Edgebanding
- Custom Laminated Panels
