Reimer Hardwoods is nowing carrying Collins Pacific Albus. Pacific Albus is a hardwood species ideal for a variety of uses including: 
  • Lightweight, straight grain, medium/fine texture, very light color
  • Adheres to and holds paint, stains and enamels
  • Ideal for machining, gluing, sanding, boring and turning
  • Edge-glueswell. Stable due to low shrinkage factor(1.16)
  • FSC Pure certified including mill residuals – chips, sawdust and bark
  • Good alternative to Alder, Aspen, Basswood, Poplar and many softwood applications
  • Consistent, uniform, available year round
  • Can contribute to LEED credits in several categories

Lumber 4/4 and 5/4 thicknesses; lengths 6'-12'. Kiln-dried lumber is surfaced two sides with an abrasive planer
